25 Authors of Christmas Interview and Giveaway

Hi Guys!
Since I am in the middle of finals week at school, I thought I would join up with the 25 Authors of Christmas blog tour. So without further ado, here is an interview with Sheenah Freitas author of the Zincian Legend!
Plus, there might just be a giveaway at the bottom!

What is your favorite part about Christmas?

I love the cold weather! Fresh snow on the ground, bundling up in a favorite big sweater, drinking hot cocoa, and reading a book.

What's the best gift you've ever received? The funniest?

Hands down, the best gift I’ve received were tickets to see Beauty and the Beast: The Musical. It was for my birthday, not Christmas, but nothing has ever topped that gift and I doubt any gift will ever top it. As for the funniest? My brother gave me an IOU before handing over my actual gift.

What kinds of gifts do you like to give your friends and family?

Practical or homemade gifts. If I know they need something, I’ll run out and get it for them. It’s nice to know that a gift will be used, you know? And when in doubt, it’s nice to make something for them to show that I’m willing to set time aside on something special for them.

Let's say it's Christmas Eve and you realize you forgot to get someone a gift. What would you do?

PANIC. You know that scene in Elf where Will Ferrell runs around in revolving doors, screaming? I know he’s doing it for fun, but just imagine him scared/panicking. That would be me.

Do you have any unique traditions with your family or friends?

We have these old Rescuer mice ornaments that HAVE to be on the tree. No matter if they go along with the theme, they just have to be on there. And we had a dog pass away a few years ago and bought an ornament with his name on it, so we make sure his ornament is up on the tree all the time, too.

And finally, how do you plan to ring in the New Year?

Hanging out at home and watching the ball drop. LOL. Not very exciting, I know! But we usually have a feast for Chinese New Year.
