Locking Myself in a Closet and Dreaming of Cats

Did you know that wedding planning is horribly stressful? It's stressful to the point if driving me to hide in a closet. Seriously.

You may ask, how could it be so stressful?

The answer is:

I am fairly whimsical and eccentric, but it turns out that my family is not cool with that. They seem to have this crazy formal wedding in mind with a bunch of looming, undefined "traditions."
For example, take the general wedding invitation designs:





They wanted something fancy and super detailed   - I wanted something with funny cats that sent everyone to our wedsite

 While we did eventually compromise with getting a seperate set of invites for their people (50 invites!) and everyone esle (75 invites) it was still a rough situation. (more on that next week in The Battle of Swashbukle)



Since I now have less than 3 months to go, I am going to torture you weekly updates.

Aren't you just so excited??

Invites are kinda out...

It turns out that we are sending not one, not two, but three different kinds of invitations to the different groups of invitees for our wedding. I was able to get type 1 and 2 done tonight, but have type 3 to get done tomorrow... I'm pretty happy that ~60% of my invites are in the mail. Yay!
I've been writing out a new weekly feature for you guys, and hopefully I will get the chance to  start posting it soon. (fyi if your keyboard suddenly starts writing absolute gibberish, the Spanish mode might be on. Just sayn')
Anyway, I'm sleepy, so I will leave you with my homemade lol cat....
